The appointment is only one part of care.

Finding a doctor is a starting point. A patient may then need to manage an appointment, explain their history, keep a prescription, follow a referral, and find medicine. Each step needs context from the previous one.

PIYA’s public product direction brings those needs into one experience. It combines local care discovery with appointments, prescriptions, referrals, and medical history in a patient profile.

One journey. Shared context.

  1. Discover care

Find doctors, clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies in Baku.

  2. Plan a visit

Bring care discovery and appointments into the same journey.

  3. Keep the context

Connect history, prescriptions, and referrals in a patient profile.

  4. Continue care

Connect medicine discovery and pharmacy pickup to that journey.

Product concept based on PIYA’s public description.

Founder, with a focus on product and engineering.

My work on PIYA brings product direction and engineering together. I focus on the patient journey, the workflows that connect it, and the boundaries around sensitive information.

That means thinking beyond an individual screen: what information a step needs, who should be able to act, and how the next step receives useful context.

Three decisions that shape the direction.

Start with a place and a need

PIYA focuses on Baku. The public product begins with finding care and medicine locally, giving the wider platform a concrete starting point for patients and providers.

Keep the journey connected

The product direction brings discovery, patient history, prescriptions, and pharmacy pickup together. Continuity between these steps is the central design problem.

About PIYA

Make access deliberate

PIYA’s published trust approach describes professional authorization, controlled emergency access, and reviewable activity. Connecting information also means defining who can use it and why.

Trust & privacy

Building the provider network.

PIYA’s public website is accessible and currently describes provider onboarding. Its focus is care discovery and connected patient information in Baku. The next step is turning that product direction into a dependable experience with participating providers.
